El articulo está basado en una investigación sobre el Sistema de Protección Social Chile Solidario, política pública diseñada e implementada por el Gobierno de Chile a partir del año 2002 y que tiene por principal finalidad superar la extrema pobreza en nuestro país. Desde este punto de vista, el presente estudio pretende indagar en las Representaciones Sociales que tienen las familias que son intervenidas respecto al Sistema Chile Solidario, y en particular, respecto al sentido que le dan al Sistema en sí mismo, indagando en las percepciones, opiniones e información que manejan las familias respecto al Sistema. La importancia de esta investigación radica en la necesidad de conocer la visión, opinión y/o imagen que tienen las familias intervenidas respecto al Sistema Chile Solidario, ya que no basta con diseñar una metodología de intervención y dirigirla hacia las familias, sino que también resulta relevante que las entidades que participan de la implementación de esta metodología se retroalimenten y consideren la opinión de éstas, a fin de obtener resultados permanentes en el tiempo y acordes a los objetivos planteados por el modelo de intervención.ABSTRACTThis research is the system context of Chile Solidario, designed and implemented by the Government of Chile since 2002 and whose main purpose to overcome extreme poverty in our country. From this point of view, this study intends to investigate in Social Representations have families who are tapped for the Chile Solidario System, in particular, and the meaning they give to the system itself, delving into the perceptions, opinions and information to families regarding the handling system. The importance of this research lies in the need to know the views, opinions and / or image that families have intervened on the Chile Solidario System, it is not enough to design a methodology for intervention and toward families, but also results relevant entities involved in the implementation of this methodology will provide feedback and consider the views of these in order to obtain lasting results in time and consistent with the objectives outlined by the intervention model.
