A artista inventa biografias ou as refuncionaliza, montando e colecionando memórias, assim como Aby Warburg e Walter Benjamin fizeram com a história da arte, uma montagem de saberes. O texto aborda a série de esculturas Eleven heavy things, os encontros inusitados e as reações que produzem e como as obras podem ser pensadas como uma busca autobiográfica. Também trata do trabalho O escolhido foi você onde a artista faz uma coleção de memórias com entrevistas a pessoas comuns, criando uma constelação de diálogos, uma montagem de biografias. |
