Description: The journal Motricidade is an open access scientific journal that publishes articles focused on the areas of Sport, Health and Human Development sciences, contributing to the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge of theoretical and empirical character in the context of physical activity and health, and human performance, as well as in scientific fields related to human development, with particular emphasis on psychology. It accepts for publication research work of quantitative or qualitative nature and the authors should target their elaboration to one of the following formats: research articles, brief articles (short-report), review articles and opinion articles. As a journal targeted for students, academic and professionals in education, sport and health, and human development researchers, the journal Motricidade emphasizes that the work should be as objective as possible, avoiding the use of speculation, but enhanced in the theorizing process.
