Algunas de las discusiones importantes que se plantan el artículo y el libro - y que pueden ser rastreadas en cartas y textos previos de ambos autores- recorren interrogantes fundantes de la disciplina histórica: desde la posibilidad de conocimiento histórico, la verdad, la prueba, la evidencia, el método microhistórico, los vínculos entre historia y literatura, hasta el rol del historiador. |
