Abstract: The programs of teaching training oriented by an approach by competencies cannot make abstraction of the practicum because it is in the real context of the professional exercise that the competencies can be manifested. This period has an extremely rich training potential when this one considers the presence of trainers prepared to assume that role. This text considers one of them, the supervisor, and proposes some conceptual and methodological elements in the study. The qualitative methodology allows apprehending the way in which supervisors have modified and enriched their resources to be able to respond with effectiveness to the necessities of the students who accompany during their teaching training program.
Translated abstract: Los programas de formacin inicial docente orientados por un enfoque por competencias no pueden hacer abstraccin de la prctica porque es en el contexto real del ejercicio profesional que las competencias pueden manifestarse. La prctica tiene un potencial formador extremadamente rico cuando sta considera la presencia de formadores preparados para asumir ese rol. Este texto trata de uno de los formadores de la triada, el supervisor de prcticas y presenta algunos elementos conceptuales y metodolgicos utilizados en el estudio. La metodologa cualitativa permite aprehender la manera en la que estos formadores han modificado y enriquecido sus recursos para poder responder con eficacia a las necesidades de los estudiantes que acompaan durante su proceso formativo
