| Description: | Neotropical Biology and Conservation is an open-access, peer-reviewed, scientific journal. It publishes original research articles on the description, analysis and conservation of the biological diversity with emphasis on the Neotropical region. Papers analyzing the biology and behavior of terrestrial and aquatic organisms are welcome. Special emphasis is given to papers that demonstrate the application of conservation principles for natural resource management and policy. The journal accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Neotropical Biology and Conservation has no article processing charges (APC) or article submission charges. Articles must be original, unpublished, must not be under consideration for publication anywhere else. Priority will be given to manuscripts in English. In addition to original articles the journal publishes short communications and scientific comments, as well as review articles. |
