| Abstract: | What is the place of subjectivity in the production of objective knowledge? More than proposing a definitive answer for this question, in this article we address the problematic relationship between subject, knowledge and truth. In order to do this, we draw upon arguments from the sociology of scientific knowledge, the philosophy of science, and psychoanalysis. In doing so, we situate the characteristics of the sciences as social practices, scientific knowledge as provisional truths inscribed in discursive matrices, and truth as an ideal unfathomable through attempts at generalization, positioning its status as secondary to the individuality of the subject. |

| Translated abstract: | ¿Cuál es el lugar de la subjetividad en la producción de conocimiento objetivo? Más allá de proponer una respuesta definitiva para este interrogante, en este artículo abordamos la problemática relación entre sujeto, conocimiento y verdad. Para ello, recurrimos a argumentos de la sociología del conocimiento científico, la filosofía de la ciencia y el psicoanálisis. En este recorrido situamos las características de las ciencias como prácticas sociales, los conocimientos científicos como verdades provisionales inscritas en matrices discursivas, y la verdad como ideal inaprehensible a través de las aspiraciones de generalización, situando su estatuto del lado de lo singular del sujeto. Qual é o lugar da subjetividade na produção do conhecimento objetivo? Além de propor uma resposta definitiva para esta pergunta, neste artigo abordamos a problemática relação entre: sujeito, conhecimento e verdade. Para isso, recorremos argumentos da sociologia do conhecimento científico, a filosofia da ciência e a psicanálise. Neste recorrido situamos as características das ciências como práticas sociais, os conhecimentos científicos como verdades provisionais inscritas em matrizes discursivas, e a verdade como ideal inapreensível através das aspirações de generalização, situando seu estatuto do lado do singular do sujeito. |
