ESTUDIO DE ALGUNAS ARAÑAS DESCRIPTAS POR MELLO-LEITAO PARA EL URUGUAY

In 1946 Mello Leião described some new genera and specíes collected in Uruguay. After studying the types the following synonymies and new combinations are established: Juambeltzia Mello-Leitão 1946 = Idiops Perty 1833; Juambeltzia clara Mello-Leitão 1946 = Idiops clarus (Mello-Leitão 1946) comb. n.; Psalistops auripilus Mello-Leitão 1946 = Pycnothelopsis modesta Schiapelli y Gerschman 1942. The description of the Allotypus of Idiops clarus is added with the figures that illustrate the valid characters. Some figures of the male characters that help the determination are also added.
