The European Journal of Applied Business and Management (EJABM) publishes its Special Issue in February 2017, with papers selected from the International Conference of Applied Business and Management (ICABM) which was held at ISAG - European Business School, Porto, during the days 22 and 23 of June 2016. The members of the Organizing Committee of the ICABM are deeply thankful for all the researchers for attending the conference. We had 85 oral presentations and more than 100 participants from different countries (Brazil, Hungary, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, among others). The international conference, with the participation of all, hopes to have contributed to disseminate scientific knowledge in the various areas of management, to generate reflections and to strengthen networking among researchers. The Special Issue of ICABM includes 23 articles presented at the conference and were evaluated by a double blind system, covering different areas of management. The reader will have online access to the articles in the scope of Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Social Responsibility, Human Resources, Tourism and Hospitality Management.  We invite all the researchers and those interested to read this edition, with original empirical and theoretical research articles which in total covers 400 pages with various topics in the areas of applied business. Thank you for considering the EJABM for reading and publishing your research.
