La visión del profesorado de Galicia sobre la función orientadora del módulo de FOL
En este trabajo se presentan los datos de una investigación realizada en el contextode los centros públicos gallegos durante el curso 2006-2007. En esta investigación setrabajó sobre la relación entre el profesorado de FOL y su función orientadora,mostrándose cuál es el sistema de orientación establecido en el ámbito educativo y elsentido del módulo de FOL en la formación de los profesionales que cursan estudiosen la FP Inicial en España y, más concretamente, en Galicia.Este artículo expone el análisis de la organización de la orientación en los centroseducativos de secundaria de Galicia, las implicaciones de la normativa del módulo deFOL, para finalizar mostrando los datos de la investigación en los que se recoge elperfil de los profesores/as participantes y su opinión sobre su inclusión en losDepartamentos de Orientación en los centros en que trabajan.Los objetivos planteados en la investigación fueron:- Entender la importancia del módulo de formación y orientación laboral dentro de laestructura de los ciclos formativos conducentes a la formación de profesionales condiferentes perfiles profesionales.- Conocer las implicaciones profesionalizadoras de este módulo.- Saber las funciones y obligaciones de este profesorado en los centros, su vinculacióncon los departamentos de orientación y su nivel de colaboración. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a research study carried out in thecontext of galician public schools during the 2006-2007 academic year. I worked on therelationship between the FOL (Vocational Training and Guidance) teachers and theircounseling role, the guidance system implemented in education and the relevance ofthe FOL module in the training of the professionals who undertake initial vocationaltraining in Spain; more specifically, in Galicia.In the first place I present an analysis of the organization of educational guidancedepartments in secondary schools in Galicia; then, the implications of the FOL moduleregulations; and finally, research data with the profiles of the participating teachers andtheir opinion about their inclusion in the guidance departments of the schools wherethey work.The pursued objectives were:· To understand the importance of the vocational training and guidance modulewithin the framework of training courses addressed to teachers with differentprofessional profiles.· To be aware of the professionalizing implications of the FOL module.· To know the roles and tasks of teaching staff in the schools, their connectionswith the educational guidance departments and their degree of collaboration.
