Orden Judicial y herencia medieval en la Nueva España
El autor presenta una tipología ideal que sirva, al mismo tiempo, de caracterización e instrumento de estudio del orden judicial de la Nueva España con el fin de rastrear su herencia medieval. En este momento de la investigación, siguiendo los consejos de la indagatoria histórica, se privilegiarán las descripciones de procesos e instituciones por sobre cualquier aparato teórico. Más adelante se tomarán decisiones en torno de cuál caracterización pudiera resultar de mayor utilidad para la comprensión de lo aquí historiado.
This text presents an ideal typology that can be used to characterize and study the legal order in New Spain in order to trace its medieval origins. Descriptions of processes and institutions are privileged above any theoretical contributions, while decisions as to the best characterization for understanding the subject under study are made in the conclusion.
