La revista MEDICINA UPB es el órgano de difusión científica oficial de la Escuela de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana que con 26 años de publicación ininterrumpida es patrimonio de los estudiantes, docentes, egresados y de todos aquellos que hacemos parte de la Escuela. Durante sus primeros tres lustros, la revista contó con el privilegio de tener a un Editor como el doctor Mario Melguizo Bermúdez. El doctor Melguizo no sólo fue el fundador de nuestra revista sino gestor y alma que sacó adelante esta quijotesca labor de comunicar los resultados de investigaciones, a él nuestro reconocimiento y agradecimiento perenne.

During its first three decades, the magazine had the privilege of having an editor as Dr. Mario Melguizo Bermudez. Dr. Melguizo not only was the founder of our journal manager and soul but pulled out this quixotic task of communicating research results to him our appreciation and thanks perennial.
