Theoretical explorations of literary criticism and those dedicated to the analysis of various artistic disciplines are facing the weakening of the foundations of humanist thought, as well as the consequences this process has had on the concepts it had had developed to addressand even to outlineits objects of study. This is not a novelty; however it is a finding that continues to produce fissures and displacements in our field of study, lately more concentrated and with greater interest in the reflections of philosophy, anthropology and biopolitics. From these, it seeks to extract critical tools to address the contemporary zooliterature, contextualize its formal searches and explain the blindness and resistance of some of the most crystallized readings. We intend to think about the contributions that interdisciplinary crossings can make to a posthumanist literary criticism, that is to say, a criticism rooted in the biocentric tradition in which are inscribed, among others, the works of Franz Kafka and Friedrich Nietzsche. One of the central critical tools for this purpose will be the performance, understood as a not representative way of approximation to animals.
